Reviews
This product wasn't really what I expected exactly - but I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, based on the picture I was expecting more of a dark gray almost charcoal cover. It's actually more like a metallized pearl gray, I can't quite think of what color it is because I wanted to say silvery, but that's not right either - very elegant though, and looks what one would describe as "posh" in British vernacular. The writing on the cover is in silver and the pages are all silver-edged on all sides - a pleasant surprise as well. I absolutely love the very minimally guided journaling/sketching that this diary/notebook promotes, while still being inspiring with the whimsical scrolls around the headings of each page. The inside lining of the covers (front and back) are a bold but softly feminine coral pink, which is the perfect contrast against the gray-scale of the exterior. All in all, I can't wait to use this!!I bought my copy from one of the sellers here, Beach Grass, and was very pleased by the prompt dispatch and how well-packed the book was: wrapped in some lovely tissue paper, tied with ribbon and packed in bubble wrap. Also personally enjoyed the little bird drawn on the invoice, which I will be cutting out for another mixed media journal I have - so thanks for that :)
